Antique 15ct gold platinum Royal Navy sweetheart brooch, c1930, original presentation case. 15ct Yellow gold sweetheart bar brooch mounted with a platinum fronted cap badge, having King's crowned laurel wreath with an anchor to the center being claw set with 23 rose cut diamonds. To verso handmade pin with safety catch & stamped 15ct. Original leatherette presentation case with brass push button opening. To the inner satin lid reads " Royal Appointment GIEVES Ltd 21, Old Bond Street, LONDON.W1". Gieves Ltd has a fantastic history as outfitters to the British Royal Navy.
