Description
Antique English solid sterling silver William IV snuff box. Rectangular shaped box with engine turned decoration on the lid surrounded by a plain border & a vacant rectangular cartouche on the top. Matching engine turned decoration on the bottom. Smooth concaved sides. On the front of the hinged lid is a nicely detailed repoussé foliate decorated thumb lift to open the box. The interior being gilt washed & fully hallmarked.
