Description
A fine quality antique William IV solid sterling silver vinaigrette. Rectangular shaped body with reeded sides, beautiful bright cut hand chased foliate decoration on the top surrounded by a foliate decorated repoussé border. Hand chased foliate decoration on the underside & a rectangular vacant cartouche on the top. Nice tight fitting hinged lid which when opened reveals the internal hinged filigree sponge holder with original sponge. Fully hallmarked on the inside bottom & lid. Lovely clean example.
