Description
Antique Georgian 15ct gold half pearl & gem stone mourning ring, c1800. A central half pearl surrounded by 8 gem stones in a floral design. The gem stones being 5 amethyst, 2 spinel & 1 paste. The shoulders being split with hand chased leaf decoration. At the center back of the gallery is a locket area where the hair of a loved would of been kept. Sadly the glass & hair are missing, which is so often the case with a ring of this age. Not marked, but tested as 15ct gold.
