Description
Antique Georgian 18ct gold ruby & half pearl memorial ring, c1800. A central ruby surrounded by 8 half pearls. Split shoulders with fine hand chased decoration leading to a reeded shank. At the center back of the gallery is a locket area where the plaited hair of a loved one would of been, sadly the glass is missing as is so often the case with a ring of this age. Not marked, but tested as 18ct gold. A fantastic example. With gift box. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the overall description.

Condition.
Glass missing from the locket area as can be seen in the photographs. Excellent condition.
