Description
Antique 9ct gold Victorian plaited hair mourning ring, 1850/1867. Plaited hair set in a 9ct gold band having a monogramed cartouche with the initials "J C". To the inside an inscription reads "My beloved wife died 30th April 1850. Aged 50 years. J.C ob.t 21 February 1867". Not marked but tested as 9ct gold. 6mm Wide shank. A fine example.
