Antique Victorian solid gold toothpick. Octagonal shaped body with beautiful bright cut hand chased foliate decoration around the outside. With a vacant cartouche on the side & dating to around 1880. Matching decorated sliding band on the outside which extends & retracts the internal sliding toothpick. Marked on the side with the makers mark of Sampson Mordan & Co along with the arrow head which is widely accepted as the makers 10ct gold mark. Lovely collectors item.
