Description
A very fine quality antique English Victorian solid sterling silver tea set. The set consists of a teapot, sugar bowl & cream jug each of circular form & raised on four feet. Each piece has fluted vertical panels & beautiful hand chased foliate decoration around the outside with a vacant cartouche on each side. The teapot has a hinged lid with matching chased decoration & a flower bud finial on the top. Shaped lifting handle on one side & swan neck spout on the other side. The sugar bowl has a scrolled handle on both sides with the cream jug having a matching handle & pouring spout at the top. Both pieces have a gilded interior. Fully hallmarked on each piece.
