Description
Antique William IV/Victorian 18ct gold garnet & diamond mourning ring, c1837. Large oval cut bezel set foil backed garnet cabochon with claw set diamonds in a star setting to the centre. Stylized split shoulders finished with a diamond each side, leading to the shank. The central diamond & diamonds to the shoulders are old cut, the others are rose cut. Set in 18ct gold & stamped to the inside if the shank "18ct". A very impressive piece from the Georgian/Victorian era.
